The soft and elegant style of the restaurant. Nice and relaxed country house. Really nice to watch the stars on the terrace, and the garden is beutiful. Rooms with a personal and romantic style.
Maybe there are some paint needed on some spots. Not perfect in every corner, but no problem.

Quiet, country location with beautiful garden not far from Addo Elephant Park. A fixed dinner menu is served every evening for those who want it and the food was excellent.

We had an incredible time at Hopefield Country House! The owners and staff were so friendly and welcoming. The ambience of the hotel was wonderful and the food was absolutely amazing. The beautiful gardens added to the overall charm of the place. It was also very convenient for us to visit the Addo Elephant Park and it was only an hour away from PE airport. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.
Would recommend this hotel.

Lovely, quiet hotel with pretty gardens and a small pool. We stayed in a charming chalet in the garden, which was a bit of a surprise but turned out to be cozy and comfortable. The dinner was delicious, especially the wine. The staff was friendly and helpful. Perfect location for visiting Addo Elephant Park, just a short drive away. we had a mixed experience, but we were mostly satisfied with our two-night stay.

Step into Hopefield Country House and you'll be greeted by a charming and cozy atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The decor is tastefully done, with soft colors and comfortable furnishings that create a warm and inviting ambiance. The hotel's general areas, like the spacious garden, are perfect for leisurely strolls and offer a sense of tranquility. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The layout was designed with our needs in mind, making it easy to navigate and enjoy all the amenities on offer.
The only small improvement I would suggest is to offer a wider variety of dinner options. While the quality of the food was excellent, the menu choices were somewhat limited.

The room was totally spacious with a super nice bathroom and bed, everything was spotlessly tidy. The staff was incredibly accommodating, although a bit too formal for our taste. The location was perfect for exploring Addo, just 15 minutes from the park entrance. The dinner was absolutely delicious, although a tad on the expensive side. The garden was impeccably maintained, offering a jaw-dropping view. Plus, the staff surprised us every morning by washing our car, a fantastic extra service. The overall experience at this beautiful country house with a big garden and relaxing pool was simply mind-blowing. The friendly staff and the fabulous little touches made our stay unforgettable. And let's not forget the yummy breakfast! This place is a hidden gem near Addo with great amenities like free Wi-Fi, free parking, electric kettle, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, laundry.

I absolutely adored the warm and cozy ambiance of Hopefield Country House. The decor in the common areas was tastefully done, with beautiful furniture and charming artwork that added a touch of elegance. The hotel's garden was a visual delight, with vibrant flowers and well-maintained greenery. It was a pleasure to relax and stroll around, surrounded by such natural beauty.
If there's one thing I would ask for to enhance the vacation experience for senior people, it would be to have more variety and flexibility in the dining options. While the dinners were enjoyable, it would have been nice to have a lighter and simpler option available, especially in the afternoon when the dinner preparations were underway.
